THE MARVELOUS MISS MAGNOLIAS
Hey y'all!! I'm Victoria Adkins, and if you’re reading this, then know you’re beautifully amazing. I’m from Knoxville, TN (a die-hard Vols fan since day one!) and proudly majoring in elementary education at the University of Tennessee. I'm super outgoing and meeting new friends is one of my favorite things. So hit me up, let’s be friends! I'm a strong-willed woman with all kinds of PASSION—especially for women’s wellness, fashion (I sure can shop till I drop), and just living life to the fullest! My motto in life? "Be the light." I want to shine bright, lift others up, and make sure everyone feels loved. Oh, and if it involves traveling, trying new things, or spontaneous adventures, count me in! Let's take care of ourselves, take care of others, and remember to take advantage of every moment!
Hi guys! I am Tran Uyen, but I go by Jessie. I moved to the states with my family in 2019 from Vietnam. I actually got my bachelor degree in Vietnam before I left, but none of my credits counted so I started college all over again in 2021. Now I’m majoring in Supply Chain Management. I love traveling, trying new restaurants, eating good foods, discovering cool coffee shops, and seeing beautiful places. I've also been a licensed nail technician for almost 4 years, so I always get to work with women. Sometimes the connection between me and my clients go beyond "just business", we enjoy sharing our life stories and cheering each other up. At this age, 27, I now truly understand how important it is for us, women, to take care of ourselves. One thing I’ve always told myself is “Be the boss of your life!”. Do your best but don’t be too harsh on yourself! Love yourself, be kind to yourself, and to others too! 💗
Hey y’all! My name is Skylar Haimes from Atlanta Georgia and I’m studying international business and marketing here at UT! I love the vols, I’m involved in a sorority, and the wakeboard club. I grew up always appreciating the arts so I keep up with my passions by drawing and singing. I am also very passionate about mental health which is why I'd like to use this platform to promote self care and self love. Life gets busy, and we sometimes forget to tune in to ourselves—our minds, our bodies, our spirits. Taking care of ourselves isn’t just a luxury; it’s essential! Imagine how powerful we feel when we give ourselves the love and care we truly deserve. So, let’s remind each other to pause, breathe, and do something that makes our hearts sing! Remember: you’re amazing, you’re unique, and I’m so lucky to be on this journey with you! Keep shining!
Howdy!! My name is Kirsten Patrick I’m from Clarksville Tennessee, and I’m at UT studying Communications and Psychology!! I turned 21 in September, I’m a Libra so I am all about finding balance in life. I want to continue my education, getting a Masters Degree in Social Work so I can become a Therapist! I’m excited to start paving a way to help overs learn to help themselves. My biggest teacher is actually my dog, she reminds me that it is ok to put myself first and that even if I make a mistake or don't feel 100%, she loves me anyway. Self-love goes beyond mere self-esteem; it’s about recognizing your worth, embracing your imperfections, and nurturing your mental and emotional health. When you love yourself, you set the foundation for healthier relationships, better decision-making, and a more fulfilling life. It’s about treating yourself with the same kindness and compassion you would offer a friend.
